The AUR Graduate School is offering a two-day one-credit Project Management Fundamentals workshop scheduled on Saturday, September 29th and Saturday, October 6th 2018. The registration fee is 500 euros and the workshop requires a minimum number of 8 participants in order to run.

The workshop is being led by the Project Management Academy, the GEMA Business School Division for PM training and consultancy services. It is a Registered Education Provider [R.E.P.] of Project Management Institute [PMI] so that all the skills and competencies taught in the courses are aligned to the standards of PMBOK® Guide [Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge].

With this course, students will also receive 9 PDU (Professional Development Units) of the Project Management Institute (PMI). A second workshop will be offered in Spring 2019 on Project Management: Scheduling and Cost Control.

PMI attained ISO9001 certification in 1999, international recognition of a management system that meets the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) criteria for ensuring consistent delivery of products or services.

Course description
This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of project management including key concepts, terminology, and how to go from project selection to project closure. As a part of the course, a mock case study is assigned to guide the student through the processes of project management. Additional fee applies.
