Born in Rome in 1975, Professor Mattei comes to AUR with several years' experience in the field of theoretical physics and astrophysics in France and Germany. He has published papers on black holes and cosmic rays for several journals, including Astrophysics Journal.
His interests include the divulgation and teaching of science to non-science majors, and has wide experience in teaching both at secondary and post-secondary levels.
