Biography

Amy Baldonieri joined AUR in September 2017 as Director of Development, providing leadership and direction in strengthening AUR’s fundraising efforts. She has nearly 20 years of fundraising and project management experience both in higher education and nonprofit visual and performing arts. She most recently served as Director of University Advancement at Central European University in Budapest and Senior Director for Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations at Chatham University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art (Greensburg, Pennsylvania) where, in addition to development and finance, her duties included international partnership management. 

Amy holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Music degree in Applied Piano from Westminster College (Pennsylvania). She is the author of "From the Ruhr Valley to the Steel City and Back," a chapter in Museums in the Global Context, published by the American Alliance of Museums in 2013.
