Female Cultural Production in Modern ItalyLiterature, Art and Intellectual History (Palgrave MacMillan, 2023).

The American University of Rome (AUR) will host the 6th edition of the annual Italian Negotiation Competition at its campus in the heart of Rome on Friday & Saturday, May 19th and 20th, 2023. 

The Dramatic Arts Club of The American University of Rome will be performing the original work, Fragments of a Fleeting Life, at Teatro Testaccio (Trastevere) on the evening of May 5, 2023. Tickets are available here.

In late March of 2023, the International Relations and Global Politics program at AUR undertook an academic field trip to Helsinki, the capital of Finland. While the trip was long planned, it occurred at a particularly momentous time for Finland as it became the 31st member of NATO.

A one-week summer educational tour & study program in the eternal city designed for participants of any age & experience.

The New York Law School (NYLS) and The American University of Rome (AUR) have partnered to offer this unique Summer School on Law and Global Society in Rome. The program will be delivered on AUR’s campus in June 2023.

Early in Spring '23, students from AUR's BA in International Relations and Global Politics, class of Humanitarian Assistance, visited the Italian Headquarters of UNCHR with Professor Cornet. There they met Enrico Guida, Protection Associate at UNCHR.

The ability to access the cultural assets of Rome is something that we probably take for granted, but for many people today, their culture and identity are under attack as never before.

Presented by the Italian Studies department at The American University of Rome, this series of four films & lectures focus on the lives of various protagonists in Rome and feature the characteristics and vitalities of Rome's neighbourhoods.
