EmoryEach semester, a host of U.S. study abroad students arrive at AUR’s beautiful Rome campus to experience Italian culture and enrich their studies.

On April 7, Prof Anna Sasso’s Global Fashion Marketing students indulged in a world of the Italian luxury at Castel Romano Designer Outlet, which is the perfect place to find your favorite brands at reduced prices.

An afternoon full of beautiful sights, wonderful food, flavorful wine, and intriguing conversations sounds like the perfect way to spend any sunny day in Italy.

AUR graduate Tiffany Burrafato (BUS ’17) has an extraordinary Event Management internship with the Rome Chamber Music Festival (http://www.romechamberfestival.org/en/) this summer, hosted in the magnificent Pietro da Cortona hall of the 17th century Palazzo BarberiniFounded and directed by American violinist Robert McDuffie, the prestigious Rome Chamber Music Festival is a celebration of classical and contemporary chamber music, and has become one of the most anticipated events on Rome’s cultural and social calendar.

There are few more appropriate and relevant places to study the profession of Travel and Tourism than here in Rome. Tourism has always been part of the lifeblood of this remarkable city – and, nowadays, of the country.
