I have been working as a journalist for the past 10 years. Starting at 18, I worked for the foreign desk of ANSA, Italy’s main press agency, where I dealt with the management of correspondence offices and the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After graduating in Philosophy of Language, I worked as a correspondent and writer for Rai, Italy’s national public broadcasting company, and wrote on fashion and culture for several Italian and American newspapers and magazines including “Vanity Fair” and “WWD”.
I have a Masters in journalism from Columbia University, specializing in economics. In New York I worked at WWD for “The Eye” section and wrote for “Footwear News”. I came back to Rome to write for the “Wall Street Journal” where I stayed for two years reporting on the economy, politics and the Vatican as well as covering fashion week before moving to the weekly “Panorama." Over the last year, after giving birth to my first son, I have continued working with Italian and American magazines and became a TV reporter and expert in social media, web and culture. Combining work and family life is hard but exciting work, and I am currently writing my second book. I speak Italian, English, Spanish and Hebrew fluently and am a member of the “Aspen Junior Fellows”.
