The AUR Wolves men’s basketball team delivered a determined performance on Friday night despite falling 45–37 to Unicamillus in a demanding road matchup at ASD San Satturino. Facing the challenge of competing without available substitutes, the Wolves demonstrated resilience and commitment throughout the game.

AUR opened strongly, taking early control with a commanding 12–2 run that showcased the team’s energy and defensive intensity. Unicamillus, however, gradually responded with a series of three-point shots that shifted momentum and tightened the contest as the game progressed.

The match took another difficult turn early in the third quarter when Michael Lindenbaum suffered an ankle injury. Refusing to step away from the game, Lindenbaum continued to lead the Wolves’ effort, battling through discomfort and contributing crucial points to keep AUR within reach.

As the fourth quarter unfolded, the physical demands of playing without substitutions began to take their toll. Despite visible fatigue, the Wolves continued to compete until the final whistle, showing determination and unity in challenging circumstances.

Following the game, Athletic Director Stefano Cristalli praised the team’s effort and fighting spirit, commending the players for their resilience and commitment throughout the contest.
