Meet Andrea Ricci, International Admissions Counselor
Andrea completed a BSc in Economics (in Italy) and a MA in Marketing Management (in England). He has an extensive professional background in the higher education sector and joined The American University of Rome in 2017. Andrea is passionate about international education and study abroad and believes that education is the only way to make the world a better place!

Meet Jessica York, Director of Admissions
Jessica graduated from university in England and Italy, then taught at international schools around the world before joining the Admissions team at The American University of Rome six years ago. In her free-time, she is a passionate runner and never grows tired of exploring Rome. She is more than happy to discuss your application in Italian, German or English. A presto!

Meet Meagan Gania, Senior Director of Enrollment and Study Abroad
Meagan was first introduced to Italian language and culture as a freshman in college and her love for Italy has only continued to grow since then, having studied in Rome for three semesters as an undergraduate, and then returning to Rome a year after earning her degree to work for her alma mater.
Meagan has been in higher education for just shy of two decades. Her educational background is in English Writing (BA) and English Literature with a sociolinguistic focus (MA), and you can often find her with her nose buried in a book (handheld or digital!). Outside of working and reading, Meagan spends her time traveling, running, spending time with her family, or catching baseball games in the summer!

Meet Cait Hoffmann, Associate Director of Enrollment Operations & Admissions
Cait joins the AUR Admissions team after years of working with international students at US colleges and universities. With undergraduate degrees in French and Japanese and a Master’s in International Education, she is passionate about global studies and education abroad. Located in Vermont, USA, Cait enjoys cooking, travel, and playing music in her band.

Meet Samantha Garcia Bracho, Assistant Director of U.S. Admissions
Originally from Venezuela and now based in sunny Florida, Samantha studied abroad at AUR in 2018, an experience that inspired her passion for international education. She holds a BA in International Studies and Public Relations and is completing her MA in Global Strategic Communication. With a background in communications and five years of international recruitment experience, she brings a global perspective shaped by travel to 33 countries. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing to Latin rhythms, exploring new places, and spending time at the beach with her family and their dog, Aspen.
