Undergraduate students: A note on Transcripts
To successfully complete your application, we require official transcripts for all college or university work undertaken.

If you have completed fewer than 45 semester hours, please also submit a secondary school transcript/school report.

There are two options for you to submit your transcripts:

    1. Unofficial Transcripts
Should you seek a rapid admission decision, we invite you to submit unofficial transcripts. Your application will be evaluated based on these details. Should you receive a positive admission decision, you will be required to submit official transcripts as soon as they become available. Complete official transcripts, including all coursework in progress at the time of your admission, must be received before you begin courses at AUR.

Please make sure that your unofficial transcripts are scanned at a legible quality.

    2. Official Transcripts
We strongly recommend that you send an official transcript for your application. This will expedite the credit transfer process once you confirm your intention to attend AUR.

Submit official transcripts from your school or paper recommendation letters using the following address:

      The American University of Rome
      Admissions Office
      Via Pietro Roselli 4
      00153 Rome
      Italy

If your school uses a secure third-party provider, such as ScriptSafe, to send digital transcripts, we will accept those in lieu of a paper copy. The official, verifiable digital transcript should be sent to admissions@aur.edu.

Should you receive a positive admissions decision, you will be required to submit official transcripts for any courses in progress as soon as they become available. Complete official transcripts, including all coursework in progress at the time of your admission, must be received before you begin your courses at AUR.

Graduate Students: A note on Transcripts
To successfully complete your application, we require official transcripts for all college or university courses undertaken.

There are two options for you to submit your transcripts:

    1. Unofficial Transcripts
Your application will be evaluated based on these details. Should you receive a positive admission decision, you will be required to submit official transcripts as soon as they become available; your admission is dependent upon achieving a final G.P.A. of at least 3.0. Complete official transcripts, including all coursework in progress at the time of your admission, must be received before you begin courses at AUR.

Please make sure that your unofficial transcripts are scanned at a legible quality.

    2. Official Transcripts
Official transcripts may be sent directly from your school or in a sealed envelope from you using the following address:

      The American University of Rome
      Admissions Office
      Via Pietro Roselli 4
      00153 Rome
      Italy

If your school uses a secure third-party provider, such as ScriptSafe, to send digital transcripts, we will accept those in lieu of a paper copy. The official, verifiable digital transcript should be sent to gradschool@aur.edu.
