Stephanie Gandolfi is a double-major in Fine Arts & Art History and the first graduate from the new Fine Arts program. She presented her amazing Capstone exhibition entitled 'Layers: A Retrospective" on the 6th of May 2021.

Tell us a bit about the exhibition Io dico io – I say I: what are its themes and what unites the artists who feature in it?

The American University of Rome's Fine Arts Program is very proud to present the 2021 Spring semester exhibition, featuring an extraordinary technical array of work including drawings, paintings, prints, frescos, and mosaics. 

Born in the Paleolithic, Professor Lauren Golden has studied Art History... forever, and is still the ‘Eternal Student’ with a passion for all things Rome - where the saying ‘non basta una vita’ (one life is not enough) is absolutely true.

You transferred to AUR halfway through your undergraduate studies at Boston University. What prompted you to make the move? 

"Oltre-Beyond", a show by Professor Kristien De Neve at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome (MACRO) in 2019, is now documented by a cat
