The AUR Wolves women’s soccer team opened its playoff campaign with a spirited performance against league-leading Link Erasmus, ultimately falling 7–3 in a high-energy and closely contested match.

Facing one of the strongest teams in the league, the Wolves demonstrated determination and attacking quality throughout the game, led by an outstanding individual performance from Greta Bair, who scored all three goals for AUR to complete an impressive hat-trick.

The match began competitively, with both teams creating early chances before Bair broke the deadlock to give AUR a 1–0 lead. Erasmus responded quickly, but the Wolves regained the advantage when Elena Delgado created space from a corner opportunity that allowed Bair to score her second of the evening.

Goalkeeper Morgan Rademacher played a key leadership role throughout the match, organizing the defense and producing several important saves under sustained pressure. Defender Emma Grace Obetz also contributed strongly at the back as AUR worked to contain Erasmus’ physical and fast-paced attack.

The Wolves continued to battle throughout the second half, with Bair completing her hat-trick to keep AUR within reach at 4–3. Despite the team’s efforts and strong support from traveling fans, Erasmus capitalized on late opportunities to extend the scoreline in the closing minutes.

Although the result did not go in AUR’s favor, the performance reflected the significant progress made by the Wolves this season and underscored the team’s resilience, depth, and competitive spirit against one of the top programs in the league.
