ART 415 – ADVANCED PAINTING
This is an advanced course of painting techniques, which may include inclusion of other media, such as photography and printmaking as research aids.
Students will develop and explore personal concepts in the painting medium. They will produce a body of artwork which shows coherence and development of a personal style in painting. Reference will be made to the work of modern
and post modern movements as well as direct references to past movements in art. Their study of other artists will enlarge their horizons and broaden their personal references.
Pre-requisites: ART 215.
Students are required to purchase their own material needed for the course.
