The American University of Rome è lieta di annunciare che, grazie ad un accordo con Intesa Sanpaolo, gli studenti già iscritti che sono residenti in Italia potranno godere del prestito “per Merito”. Questo sostegno economico è stato reso disponibile con l’obiettivo di aiutare gli studenti ad ampliare le loro competenze e la loro esperienza universitaria e di investire nel loro futuro.
Col lancio di questa collaborazione, molti nuovi studenti potranno essere accolti da AUR e potranno sperimentare una esperienza vivace e multiculturale.
“Per Merito” è un prestito che ogni studente residente in Italia può ottenere alla sola condizione di essere in regola con il percorso di studi prescelto e non richiede alcuna garanzia.
Il prestito “per Merito” consente allo studente di affrontare con più tranquillità il suo proprio percorso di studi e permette di far fronte alle rette di iscrizione, all’acquisto del materiale didattico, alle spese per l’alloggio, alle uscite didattiche – e non ha alcun obbligo di rendicontare queste spese.
Alla fine degli studi si attiva un “periodo ponte” di 24 mesi, durante il quale lo studente non riceverà più erogazioni ma non dovrà ancora restituire nulla. La restituzione avviene in un periodo massimo di 30 anni; in caso di estinzione anticipata non ci sono costi aggiuntivi.
Il tasso è fisso e definito al momento della sottoscrizione.
Tutti gli interessi vengono riversati da Intesa Sanpaolo al Fund for Impact, il fondo creato per le categorie con difficoltà di accesso al credito ed allo studio.

The American University of Rome is delighted to announce that, thanks to an agreement with Intesa Sanpaolo, students who have completed at least one semester at AUR and who are currently resident in Italy are able to benefit from the “per Merito” loan. The objective of this financial support is to help students to develop their skills, to make the very most of their university experience, and to invest in their future.
The launch of this collaboration will allow for many new students to be welcomed at AUR, where they can experience a vibrant and multicultural experience.
All students who are resident in Italy are eligible for the “per Merito” loan providing that they meet the academic criteria of their chosen study path. No guarantee of any sort is required.
The “per Merito” loan allows students to alleviate financial pressures while they pursue their studies, and whether they choose to direct the funds towards enrolment fees, the purhcase of study materials, accommodation costs, academic fieldtrips or elsewhere, they are not required to report their expenses.
Once the student has graduated, a “bridge period” lasting 24 months begins, during which he or she will no longer receive the loan, however nor will they be obliged to begin repayments. Following the bridge period, the loan will be paid back over the course of maxmimum 30 years; should the repayment be made beforehand there will be no additional costs.
The interest rate is decided at the time of signing and remains fixed from that point on.
Intesa Sanpaolo will redirect all interest generated to the Fund for Impact, established in order to provide support for those who have difficulty accessing credit and education.
