AUR is proud to be a partner of the  Rome Food Policy Council and is involved in four of its nine thematic working groups.   

Professor Laura Prota, as AUR representative, was elected as Coordinator of the thematic working group on Food Waste and Losses

Part-time Food Studies faculty and partners of the Master in Food Studies are also engaged: 
- Professor Francesca Felici, as Coordinator of the working group on Food Poverty
- Professor Maria Fonte contributes to the Working Group on Community, Social Economy and Solidarity,  
- Professor Valentina Peveri contributes to the Working Group on Collective and School Catering 
- Professor Dalia Mattioni contributes to the Working Group on Distribution and Local Markets

Our partner farm Cooperativa Coraggio participates in the Working Group on Local Production and Agroecology.  

We are eager to participate in and learn from the work being done, to share progress with our students and, more generally, eager to follow the developments of the Rome Food Policy Council!
