Professor Džalto on Religious Consciousness in a Post-Secular Society

Dr. Davor Džalto (Program director and professor of Art History, Religious Studies, and the Master’s program in Peace Studies at AUR)  was a guest speaker at the International Conference on Religious Consciousness in a Post-Secular Society, held Dec. 12-15, 2017 in Moscow, Russia. 

Momenti Iconici: Exhibition of Artworks by Professor Davor Džalto

Professor Davor Džalto is not only Director of the M.A. Peace Studies program and B.A. Arts History program at AUR but is also a world-renowned artist who has recently opened a new exhibition at the church Santa Maria della Pace in Rome. The exhibition features a number of new works by Professor Džalto and was officially opened by H.E. Msgr. Stanislav Hočevar, Archbishop and Metropolitan. 

International Day of Peace 2017: Conflicts and Threats Beyond the Left and the Right

September 21 is observed annually as the International Day of Peace. This year’s theme, the UN informs us, is “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All.”

One Health for Food Safety, Food Security, and Sustainable Food Production: Integrating Human, Animal, and Environmental Health

The symposium will explore the relationship between sustainable food production systems, zoonotic diseases, and human health, in light of the emerging One Health principle.
