Marcella Donovan (Communications ’02), Head of Verticals, for global media platform Teads MEA, in Dubai, was nominated as a "Woman Who Inspires." 

Every year, AUR welcomes a host of U.S. students who arrive at AUR’s beautiful Rome campus to experience Italian culture and enrich their studies through a study abroad experience.

AUR's Summer short course, Drawing I, was designed to provide students with the core set of skills needed to pursue a classical discipline in drawing and painting.

Stephanie Gandolfi is a double-major in Fine Arts & Art History and the first graduate from the new Fine Arts program. She presented her amazing Capstone exhibition entitled 'Layers: A Retrospective" on the 6th of May 2021.

Tell us a bit about the exhibition Io dico io – I say I: what are its themes and what unites the artists who feature in it?

The American University of Rome's Fine Arts Program is very proud to present the 2021 Spring semester exhibition, featuring an extraordinary technical array of work including drawings, paintings, prints, frescos, and mosaics. 

Born in the Paleolithic, Professor Lauren Golden has studied Art History... forever, and is still the ‘Eternal Student’ with a passion for all things Rome - where the saying ‘non basta una vita’ (one life is not enough) is absolutely true.

You transferred to AUR halfway through your undergraduate studies at Boston University. What prompted you to make the move?
