Professor Lorenzo Coretti, Ph.D.
Program Director. Lorenzo is an Italian academic with experience in research, social media, TV production and journalism both in Italy and the United Kingdom. He researched and published in the field of critical theory of technology and social movement theory. In particular, Lorenzo focused on the relationship between technological design and social movement activities, such as mobilization strategies, organizational patterns, and collective identity building processes.
Professor Brian Koperski, M.A.
Professor. Brian is originally from America, and has been studying and working with Digital Media for over 2 decades. He has a Minor in Architecture History which is the driving factor that brought him to Rome to visit, and eventually live here. Brian knows the history of Rome, and his passion for exploring the historic city is reflected in his photography and media productions, as he is always looking for the best light and positions, affording superior results in his work.

Professor Patrick Patterson, M.F.A.
Adjunct Professor. Professor Patterson joined AUR in 2018 as Assistant Professor of Film. He has over 23 years of professional experience in filmmaking in the U.S., Asia and Europe both in the independent film and television worlds. Before coming to Rome, Patterson, who is American (from Orono, Maine) lived in Istanbul, Turkey, where he was an instructor at Bahçeşehir University for 17 years (2001-2018).

Professor Victor Rambaldi, B.A.
Adjunct Professor. Award winning director/screenwriter Victor Rambaldi is a University of California, Los Angeles film school graduate and began working as assistant director at MGM Studios in Culver City, California, on the TV series, "Knots Landing". During his career he has worked on films and a plethora of projects, ranging from multi-media, features, animation, live theater and commercials, both in the United States and in Europe. He is also a writer of twenty one children and young adults books for several publishing houses in Italy.
