The Italian premiere of Rick Elice's acclaimed play "Peter and the Starcatcher" is currently being performed at Teatro Arciliuto, located inside Palazzo Chiovenda, an ancient sixteenth-century residence in Piazza di Montevecchio.

The American University of Rome recently had the pleasure of welcoming back alumna Chevonne O’Shaughnessy (BUS ’89) to its campus. O’Shaughnessy, a member of one of AUR's earliest graduating cohorts, has since established herself as a prominent film producer and distributor.

Q. You recently took on the role of Video Editor with FemGems. Can you tell us a bit about the company?

TRESPASS is a short film that deals with a dystopian future where machines (robots) have completely taken over human life, establishing a cruel dictatorship where the only thing that matters is Productivity. 

In this book, published by Routledge, Coretti (who co-authored the chapter with Daniele Pica) argues that the commercially-driven design of Facebook promotes ‘cycles of depression’ in those movements that adopt social media as means for mobilization and circulation of information.

AUR students of the newly formed course, FAFD 106 – Photography in Rome: Studio & Still Life, recently participated in an online international photography competition via Dpreview.com as part of their course assignment from Prof. Brian Koperski.

October 3rd saw the return of our annual Entertainment Forum, and we were delighted to welcome actress Kate Walsh as our guest of honor this year.
