Dr. Lisa Colletta, Professor of English and Dean of Academic Affairs, has just published The Legacy of the Grand Tour: New Essays in Travel, Literature, and Culture. The book examines the ways in which the legacy of the Grand Tour is still evident in works of travel and literature.

The Colosseum or the Flavian Amphitheatre as it was known in Antiquity is a worldwide symbol of recognition. Very rarely does one come across anyone who doesn’t place the city of Rome alongside an image of the Colosseum.

The Hungarian government has proposed amendments to the National Higher Education Law that would make it impossible for Central European University – and possibly other international institutions – to continue operations within the country.
