In compliance with FERPA, The American University of Rome does not disclose personally identifiable information contained in student education records, except as authorized by law and/or those with written consent from the student.

FERPA provides certain right to parents regarding their children’s educational records.  Once the student reaches the age of 18, these rights are automatically transferred to the student.

Download the FERPA release form under the Forms and Handouts tab of MyAUR and submit it to the Registrar’s office during the week of Orientation.

Please submit the form if you’d like a parent or guardian to have access to certain information.  If you prefer not to give anyone access to your information, you are not required to submit the form.
